I never ever ever ever update my blog. Why? Because I’m always too busy to really do much with it.

Once upon a time I used to update this place most days. It was my pride and joy, and I put a lot of heart and soul into it. And people would come from far and wide to gaze upon its delights and funny witterings

So what happened?

Well, in a nutshell, Facebook happened. I got engrossed in social networking and the whole idea of it, and whilst I still enjoy going on Facebook now and again, I really don’t see it in the same way as I used to.

Twitter on the other hand…

Twitter is something that I seem to use more and more as something something simple where I add little tidbits of rants about my life and, on ocassion, my work. The fact that it’s limited to 140 characters can be both a godsend, and a curse. It’s a godsend because you then have to think about the 140 characters that you’re putting in your message, which can make it much more relevant. Conversely, it’s a curse, because sometimes even the most succinct of of sentences can’t be squeezed into that amount of space. And that’s when you’re not replying to a person, or a group.
